Often when people are looking for web hosting they bump into web hosting reviews.

Unfortunately, almost all of these review sites are fake.

Why are these sites fake?

Two of the many reasons this happens:

• Affiliate marketers configure sites like this to make money. When you click onto one of the web hosts, a tracking cookie gets onto your machine. When you make a purchase, the affiliate marketer gets a commission.
• Other times, web host companies put these sites in place to make themselves look better.
