One of our clients asked us earlier if embedding YouTube videos to pages on their website will make the pages larger.
Embedding a YouTube video will not increase page size or affect download speeds of your page. YouTube embeds are done via an IFrame. This simply means the content (in this case a YouTube video) displays in the frame. The preview of the content loads directly from YouTube. If someone clicks play, the video displays and is streamed directly from YT to the user’s browser.
